"Will the Sun Fit" is Michael Cawcutt's first book. Influenced by childhood memories, "Will the Sun Fit" follows the adventurous ways of Jack. Through out his day, Jack wants to know if the Sun will truly fit in his window, the truck, his pop bottle, the lake and even his dreams. This book speaks to children and adults alike—as it dares even the oldest of adults to think like a child. I knew from the beginning I wanted the entire book to be black and white with the exception of Jack's hair and the Sun. To help push the playfulness and color of the Sun—my son Cayden finger painted 4 24x36" tagboard sheets. These were photographed and photoshopped into the illustrations
