As much as 20% of provider time per patient appointment is clerical in nature. Due to the multiple applications and point of care systems and non meaningful data elements associated with these systems, a significant cognitive burden is elicited on providers. This experience aims to reduce clerical and cognitive burden and create situational awareness. Positive user-testing confirmed that this application standardized workflow, improved effectivness and reduced cost / manage to reimbursement. At anytime providers, coordinators and staff could see a bird's eye view of the clinical floor. From here—the user can edit patient information, submit notes, orders, billings as well as medications.
